MEET CRYSTAL
Crystal has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2007. She also has a BA in Corporate Communications and a minor in Business Administration from Elon University. Her level of precision, organization, and detail, combined with focused and strategic problem solving, puts her in the top echelon for coordinating the home selling process.
Trustworthy, honest, and savvy, Crystal Stafford, known as “the Listing Genius,” has been working closely with Linda Trevor since 2009 to ensure every listing stands out among the rest. They work together to create a stellar marketing campaign for each listing with special emphasis on even the smallest detail. Crystal also works diligently with the homeowner to discuss possible improvements, staging, photography, and noting important features of the home. She also looks over and corrects any paperwork (HOA, etc.) to be sure there are no surprises later. The homeowner and all parties involved are always very well informed due to her digital organization and quick communication, in a way that works best for her clients. “Someone once told me that real estate "gets in your blood," and I now understand that it really does! I love visiting the houses, seeing the beauty each one offers, and meeting the people. Knowing that I can help them sell their home and move on to a new adventure is my passion,” says Crystal.
Prior to real estate, beginning in 1997, Crystal worked at WRAL-TV and FOX50 in the traffic and sales departments. Then in January 2001, she started her career at FormScape, a software company, as a Marketing Programs Manager where she traveled all over the US and UK gaining knowledge in marketing.
Living in Raleigh, she finds no shortage of things to do because of the abundant options of shopping, restaurants, concerts and of course, the amazing real estate market! Her husband Brian introduced her to camping and canoeing, which they enjoy together on their farm in Bear Creek, NC and on the Neuse River. “I really enjoy being surrounded by the peaceful nature of our farm, and being able to hear the birds and frogs. We also see some beautiful animals, like the blue heron that visits our pond to catch fish.” Gardening is another passion for Crystal because she can grow her own produce and enjoys taking care of the plants. “The taste is so much better than buying in the store; especially the tomatoes.” Recently, she has been painting, which she is hoping to do more of as a way to relax and create!
Crystal grew up in Ennice, NC on the same road as her grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, she always loved driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway and seeing the Autumn foliage.
As a way to give back to her community, Crystal participates in the “Compass Cares” program, which supports meaningful causes in our local community.
