MEET MARYBETH
MaryBeth is a seasoned REALTOR®, following in the footsteps of her dad, who worked in real estate since she was very young. She also has her BA in Art Education from Meredith College. Her knowledge of the ever-changing housing market gives her clients a competitive edge for winning in multiple offer situations, as well as getting top dollar for the sale of their homes. With an abundant real estate network, MaryBeth says, “I work hard to utilize my resources to help my clients in all aspects of buying and selling to give them top notch service.” Being an excellent communicator also provides her clients with an exceptional and genuine experience in every way.
Honest, joyful, and diligent, MaryBeth Weber says, “a home is not only an investment, but is part of a person's identity, and therefore, should be treated with care, precision and a dutiful responsibility.” Known as “the Passionate Agent,” she understands that selling or searching for a new home should be exciting and not stressful, she works tirelessly behind the scenes for her clients to ensure a smooth transaction. Always ready to assist, she is quick to reply to her client’s and does so in the way that works best for them. She takes the extra time to explain all the details of purchase and sales agreements, being sure they are completed correctly and concisely to avoid any problems or delays. Along with being a skilled negotiator, she also helps her clients arrange all necessary inspections; even accompanying them on those inspections. “I have met some of the most amazing people who are now some of my closest friends, both colleagues and past clients,” she says.
Prior to real estate, MaryBeth was an art teacher at the Elementary and Middle level. She loved teaching and allowing the students to be creative and have fun in her class. She says, “I also enjoyed getting about twenty hugs a day!”
Living in Apex since 2002, she and her family love all the college sports the area has to offer; they are big NCSU fans! All of the quaint downtown areas, fantastic restaurants, and the nice people are some of the other reasons she loves the area. Her husband works at Cisco Systems, and they have two children; a daughter who attends East Carolina University and a son that attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Along with their love of college sports, the family also enjoys time on their boat at the beautiful Jordan Lake. MaryBeth finds happiness and relaxation by painting and exercising saying, “It is a time I can regroup and clear my mind.” She also cherishes the time she can spend with family and friends regardless if it is just hanging out at the house or attending a large event; “I love being around the people that are special to me,” she says.
MaryBeth grew up in Richmond, VA and most of her family still lives there with the exception of a sister, who lives in Cary, NC. She always looks forward to her trips to Richmond to visit family and loves how the downtown overlooks the James River.
Always giving back to the community, MaryBeth has enjoyed volunteering her time with the Junior League of Raleigh and being a PTA volunteer. She also participates in the “Compass Cares” program, which supports meaningful causes in our local community.
